Import AniWave

Importing your AniWave List:

Export Your AniWave Watchlist:
- Export your AniWave watchlist in any format (even if it's a simple .txt file). If you don't have an export, consider creating a temporary account on MyAnimeList (MAL) to facilitate the process.
Transfer to MyAnimeList (Temporary Step):
- Create a temporary account on MAL using a disposable email address.
- Import your AniWave watchlist into this temporary MAL account.
Export from MyAnimeList to AniList:
- Once your watchlist is in MAL, follow these steps:
  - Visit MyAnimeList and log in to your temporary account.
  - Go to the "Anime" section and click on "Export Data."
  - Choose the export format (XML or plain text) and download the file.
  - Now, log in to your AniList account.
  - Click on your profile picture, go to "Settings," and select "Import & Export."
  - Choose "Import Data" and upload the file you downloaded from MAL.
  - AniList will process the data, and your watchlist should be updated.

Importing your HiAnime List:

Export from Zoro/Aniwatch to MAL:
- Visit Zoro/Aniwatch and export your anime watchlist in MAL XML format.
- Use this Zoro to MyAnimeList app ZorotoMAL.
- After this, go to step 4.
Manually Add Entries to MAL:
- Open the exported XML file from Zoro/Aniwatch.
- Identify the anime entries and manually add them to your MAL account one by one.
- It's a bit time-consuming, especially if you have a large watchlist, but it's the official way to do it.
Alternative Approach (MALSync):
- Although not guaranteed to work, you can try using MALSync:
  - Install the MALSync browser extension.
  - Configure it with your MAL and AniList accounts.
  - Use the sync feature to transfer your watchlist data.
Export from MAL to AniList:
- Once your watchlist is complete on MAL, export it from there.
- Go to your AniList account settings.
- Choose "Import & Export" and upload the MAL XML file.
- AniList will process the data, and your watchlist should be updated.
